Philosophy

At Concrete Empire, I believe in crafting more than just functional pieces—I create meaningful art. My philosophy is rooted in resilience, creativity, and intention. Each item is handcrafted with care, embodying a balance of form and function while telling a story of strength and beauty. I'm committed to sustainability, supporting my community, and giving back, donating a portion of every sale to advance cancer research. Concrete Empire is about more than design—it’s about transforming raw materials into timeless, impactful pieces that inspire and elevate every space they touch.

How it all started
It all started during one of the most challenging periods of my life—following a cancer diagnosis. Experimenting with concrete became a creative outlet and a much-needed distraction, offering moments of light and purpose through some of my darkest days. What began as a way to cope also became a means to tackle the staggering financial burden that came with my diagnosis, even with insurance. Now, gratefully on the other side of that journey (knock on wood), I’m thrilled to share these handcrafted creations with you. Each piece is a testament to resilience, creativity, and finding beauty in unexpected places, and your support helps turn a difficult chapter into one of hope and purpose.

Doing good
A portion of the profit from each sale will go to The Cancer Research Institute to help support immunotherapy research and clinical trials to fund revolutionary breakthroughs to cure all types of cancer.
